PREDICTED RESULTS

completing the national(international) database regarding  the selection process of the capabilities needed in the projection of the forces;

thoroughgoing study of the existing relationships between the different categories of resources for specific missions;

elaborate a system of needed criteria in the selection of the staff and the equipment;

establish a decisional system for optimizing the use of resources and maximizing the results;

develope specific applications as a support in the decisional process.

The estimated results aim at the following directions:

Providing the conditions for developing  a consortium (network) of research and education institutions, known and active on national and international level, with a high scientific and technical competence in security and defence, by:

- increasing the number of active staff specialized in research;

- involved in partnerships and representative programs;

- increasing the involvement of institutions equipped with modern research and information technology.

Increasing the performance of the staff involved in research activities by:

-young researchers and science doctors;

-increasing the number of researchers engaged in post-doctorate and international programs;

-training specialized managers for research programs and projects.

Increasing the prestige of the institutions and research programs on a national and international level and enlarging the number of accredited institutions involved in research activities.

 

Predicted Quantifiable Results:

create a database including types of missions (activities), characteristics, specific requirements, risk factors and specific impact;

establish a criteria system for selecting capabilities in order to fulfil missions in the field of security and defence;

establish the impact associated to the correlations between the features studied by means of the multidimensional statistical analysis;

elaborate / validate a patern for the selection of capabilities needed in fulfilling teh respective missions;

design an application (package of programs for informatics) for implementing the considered decisional multi-criteria pattern.
