Center for Modeling and Simulation of Military Actions

The Center for Modeling and Simulation of Military Actions has as its mission the professional training of students by ensuring the technological capabilities and expertise required by the transformations in the field.

The activities carried out within the Center for Modeling and Simulation of Military Actions follow:

• the support of the specialized training and the carrying out of the didactic activities specific to the curricular area of the M&S domain;
• planning, organizing and conducting training exercises through simulation;
• training students using the rules of radio traffic and within the radio communication environment, using research and development activities, using test equipments, as well as other scientific measuring and control devices;
• conducting experimentation activities (at the level of the center) specific to the domain of/adjacent to M&S.

The infrastructure of the Center for Modeling and Simulation of Military Actions has:

• two laboratories for the modeling and simulation of military actions, equipped with the JCATS (Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation) constructive simulation system;
• three Harris laboratories, equipped with radio equipment.
