A new promotion of officers ready to respond “present” to the country’s call


Today, the 26th of July, fighters and, at the same time, specialists, leaders and good citizens, the 271 graduates of the “Nicolae Balcescu-200” class confidently walked on a new road, gaining the new status, that of commissioned officer.

The military ceremony of awarding the ranks to the youngest generation of officers of the Romanian Army was held on the parade ground of the institution, where together with our graduates were the Chief of the Defense Staff, General Nicolae Ciuca, the commander of the Land Forces Operational Component and the deputy chief of the General Staff of the Land Forces, Major General Dorin Blaiu, as well as local and central public officials, teachers and instructors who guided their steps, parents and relatives of the graduates.

On this unique day in the life of a military student, the effort made and the results obtained during the years of study in our institution were rewarded so that the graduates who ranked first on university specialties, branches and military specialties received awards and diplomas of merit. The first to congratulate them was the commander of the Land Forces Operational Component and the deputy chief of the General Staff of the Land Forces, Major General Dorin Blaiu, who offered them diplomas of merit and awards to the graduates who ranked 1st.

The head of the “Nicolae Balcescu” Land Forces Academy 2019 class, second lieutenant Ariadna-Ecaterina Guta, the one who obtained the score 9.59, the first at the Military leadership specialization, the military Reconnaissance specialty, received from the Chief of the General Staff of Defense, general Nicolae Ciuca, the “Military Science” IInd class emblem of merit and the Personalized Stiletto, and the graduates who ranked first at university specializations and military specialties received the coin of the Chief of Defense Staff.

As a sign of appreciation from the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, a prestigious institution of higher education in Romania which marked 50 years of existence, the university rector, prof.eng. Ioan Bondrea, PhD, offered the second lieutenant Andrei Vlad Vorobet, the one who led the students’ activity and had the highest honorary degree, the “Nicolae Balcescu-200” Diploma of excellence of graduates of the promotion.

Raul-Daniel Malutan, sub-inspector of penitentiaries, who graduated with the score 8.31, being the first at the Finance-accounting military specialty, was awarded by the deputy director general of the National Administration of Penitentiaries, the chief commissioner of penitentiaries Ioana Morar.

With the score 8.08, second lieutenant Delia Alexandra Magraon ranked 1st at the Romanian Intelligence Service, being awarded by the head of the Department of Communication and Cooperation, within the General Directorate of Human Resources Management and Organization of the Romanian Intelligence Service, Lt. col. Suzana Neacsa.

With the score 9.43, sub-inspector Andreea Dolha ranked first at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The diploma of merit was awarded by the Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of Human Resources Management, within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Chief Commissioner of Police Valentin Minoiu.
