International Week of „Nicolae Balcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu
From 13 to 17 June, our institution organized the International Week of "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu, dedicated to teachers, which was attended by 21 representatives from Vasil Levski" National Military University in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, "Georgi Benkovski" Air Force Academy in Pleven, Bulgaria, War Studies University in Warsaw, Poland and the University of Public and Individual Security "Apeiron" in Krakow, Poland.
The agenda of the event included a presentation of the study programmes offered by our Academy and a visit to the teaching, scientific research, military training, sports and recreational facilities. Each delegation also gave a brief presentation of the institution they represented.
The event organized by our institution also focused on the cultural and recreational aspects, aiming to develop the interest of the guests in the traditions, culture and customs of the Sibiu area and beyond. Thus, during this week the host institution organized visits of Sibiu and trips to Sighisoara and Alba-Iulia Fortress.
The International Week of "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu ended with the presentation of papers by representatives of partner institutions at the International Scientific Conference "The Knowledge - Based Organization" (KBO) 2022 organized by our institution.
The main purpose of this event is to develop international collaboration relations with other universities in order to facilitate student exchanges.
