MILITARY TRAINING MODULES IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE EUROPEAN INITIATIVE FOR THE EXCHANGE OF YOUNG MILITARY OFFICERS (EMILYO)


From 11 to 22 July, the “Nicolae Balcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu organized the military training modules Survival in Temporary Isolation and Reconnaissance in Crintu and Perii Daii training camps.

The two modules are part of the educational offer that the Academy makes available to partner institutions in the framework of the European Initiative for the Exchange of Young Military Officers (EMILYO) and brought together students from partner institutions such as: Royal Military Academy, Brussels, BELGIUM; ”Vasil Levski” National Military University, Veliko Tarnovo, BULGARIA; University of Defense, Brno, CZECH REPUBLIC; ”Dr. Franjo Tuđman” Defence Academy, Zagreb, CROATIA; National Defense Academy, Gori, Georgia; University of Turin, ITALY; ”General Tadeusz Kosciuszko” Military University of Land Forces, Wroclaw, POLAND, Military University of Technology, Warsaw, POLAND and "Alexandru cel Bun" Military University of Armed Forces, Chisinau, REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA.

During the two weeks spent in the training camps, representatives of the partner institutions interacted with military instructors and Romanian cadets and learned and deepened combat and survival techniques in temporary isolation.
