Between May 05-11, 2025, Ms. Herman Ramona-Elena, Erasmus+ Coordinator, along with two students, corporal cadet Pîrvu Mihaela and corporal cadet Ranga Ioan-Florin, from "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu participated in the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) module organized by the University of Turin, Italy in the framework of the European initiative for the exchange of young officers inspired by Erasmus (EMILYO).
The activity was organized as a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). The program included both face-to-face and online sessions, providing a flexible and efficient learning environment.
The central theme of the module was the Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP) of the European Union - a dynamic field, essential for understanding the mechanisms of European cooperation in the face of current security challenges.
The activity was attended by representatives from the following institutions: University of Turin (Italy), Military Officer Training School of Turin (Italy), Air Force Academy of Pleven (Bulgaria), Naval Forces Academy of Varna (Bulgaria), Hellenic Military Academy of Athens (Greece), National Defense University in Riga (Latvia), "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu, "Mircea cel Bătrân" Naval Forces Academy in Constanța, “Ferdinand I” Military Technical Academy in Bucharest (Romania), Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia (Poland), Military University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland and "General Tadeusz Kosciuszko" Military University of Land Forces in Wroclaw (Poland).
