International Week of ”Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu – 2025 edition
Between 9th - 13th of June, our institution hosted the 2025 edition of the International Week of "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu. As in previous years, the event brought together numerous academic staff, researchers and representatives of international relations offices from the following partner institutions: “Georgi Benkovski” Air Force Academy, Pleven, Bulgaria; “Vasil Levski” National Military University, Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria; University of Defence, Brno, Czech Republic; “LEPL – David Aghmashenebeli” National Defence Academy, Gori, Georgia; “General Tadeusz Kościuszko” Military University of Land Forces, Wrocław, Poland; University of Law and Administration WSPiA, Rzeszów, Poland; Military Academy, Lisbon, Portugal; National Defence University, Istanbul, Türkiye; University of Public Service, Budapest, Hungary; ”Taras Shevchenko” National University, Kyiv, Ukraine and South Dakota State University, USA.
Throughout the event, participants engaged in a wide range of academic, social, and cultural activities aimed at encouraging the exchange of experience and best practices in military higher education.
Participants gave presentations about their home institutions, discussed the development of cooperation initiatives, took part in the KBO – Knowledge Based Organization scientific conference and visited various tourist attractions around Sibiu.
The International Week of the “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu is organized annually with the aim of promoting the educational offer of our institution, enhancing international exchanges, strengthening existing partnerships and increasing the visibility of our academy.
