Student Mobilities under the Erasmus+ Programme in the 2024–2025 Academic Year
During the 2024–2025 academic year, students from the "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu enjoyed an unique international experience by carrying out mobilities under the Erasmus+ Programme. A total number of 77 cadets undertook long-term mobilities (for study and traineeships) at various partner institutions, depending on their year of study and area of specialization. The host institutions were: Theresian Military Academy, Wiener Neustadt, Austria; “Vasil Levski” National Military University, Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria; “G.S. Rakovski” National Defence College, Sofia, Bulgaria; University of Engineering, Limoges, France; Hellenic Military Academy, Athens, Greece; ”Helmut Schmidt” University, Hamburg, Germany; University of Studies, Turin, Italy; Military University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland; War Studies University, Warsaw, Poland; Military Academy, Lisbon, Portugal; Armed Forces Academy “General Milan Rastislav Štefánik,” Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia and General Military Academy, Zaragoza, Spain.
In addition to long-term mobilities, students from the "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu also participated in short-term study mobilities through Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs), attending academic or military training modules organized by our partners: University of Studies, Turin, Italy; Hellenic Military Academy, Athens, Greece and Naval Academy, Gdynia, Poland.
At the end of their mobility periods, the students described the experience as remarkable, highlighting the strong bonds they formed with fellow cadets and students from the partner institutions, as well as the unforgettable memories they created together.
