Participation in the International Military Academic Forum and the 66th Implementation Group Meeting
Between June 2nd and June 6th, a delegation from "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu - consisting of Colonel Răzvan BARBU, Associate professor Isabela DRAGOMIR, PhD, Ramona HERMAN, Oana NEGRILĂ, Cadet Karina POP, Cadet Ștefan COSTARU and cadet Alex BIRIȘ — participated in the 2025 edition of the International Military Academic Forum (iMAF), hosted by "Mircea cel Bătrân" Naval Academy of Constanța.
During the same period, the academy from Constanța organized the 66th Meeting of the Implementation Group. The two events were organized with the aim of promoting international cooperation among military higher education institutions within the European Union and sharing student experiences gained through participation in international activities offered under Erasmus+ and EMILYO framework.
Furthermore, the military institutions which participated in the events delivered presentations regarding the international activities conducted during the 2024–2025 academic year and introduced their international offer for the upcoming academic year.
Discussions took place both in plenary sessions and in several working groups, depending on the topics. The conclusions drawn from these debates focused on identifying the challenges faced by military higher education institutions in the European Union, particularly in regard to the training of future officers, as well as on outlining possible solutions that can be efficiently implemented in the education and training processes managed by these institutions.
