Coordination and information visit to the National Defense University of Istanbul, Türkiye
During 23 - June 27, 2025, a delegation from “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu, consisting of LTC Assoc. Prof. Alexandru Baboș, Assoc. Prof. Isabela Dragomir and Ms. Ramona Herman, paid a coordination and information visit to the Turkish National Defence University, which aimed at strengthening the international cooperation between the two institutions.
This activity highlighted the importance of increasing the level of cooperation between military higher education institutions, in a global context marked by the increasing need for interoperability, exchange of best practices and joint training. The dialogue between the representatives of the two institutions aimed at expanding collaboration within the Erasmus+ Program and beyond, through participation in short-term events and activities, organization of international conferences, as well as initiatives in the field of military and academic training.
The visit reflects the commitment of the two military higher education institutions to expand international partnerships and promote academic and professional mobility.
