LFA of Sibiu Successfully Concludes 5-Day Module on European Values

The Land Forces Academy of Sibiu has successfully completed a five-day common module dedicated to European values, which was organized between December 8-12, 2025, under the aegis of the European Security and Defence College. The module brought together military students from 5 European military academies, who were coordinated by 5 expert instructors from Romania and Poland, throughout an intensive program designed to strengthen ethical leadership and intercultural understanding.

Over the course of the week, participants engaged in lectures, workshops, and interactive debates focused on key principles such as human dignity, democracy, equality, rule of law, and respect for human rights. The module emphasized the importance of these values not only as academic concepts but as guiding principles for future officers serving in multinational missions and alliances.

"This module is more than a course - it constitutes the foundation of the professional identity of tomorrow's officers," stated the course director, Assoc.Prof. Isabela-Anda Dragomir, PhD. The LFA plans to continue offering this module as part of its curriculum, ensuring that cadets will gain a well-rounded education by exposure to diverse perspectives, teaching methods, and academic cultures.
