"European Values" Common Module

This module aims to deepen the understanding of the fundamental values promoted by the European Union and its member states, such as democracy, the rule of law, freedom, equality, solidarity, respect for human rights, and diversity, etc. Participants will explore the significance of these principles in contemporary European society and examine ways to actively apply them in both personal and professional life, at national and international levels.
Activities include:

• Case studies, role-plays, debates, and interactive discussions in plenary sessions and working groups.
• Argumentation of personal ideas, beliefs, and values in relation to European principles.
• Critical analysis of cases involving violations of European values and the development of solutions to protect them.
• Comparison and contrast of national and international perspectives on European values, using relevant sources.

The module contributes to the development of key competences such as: critical thinking and strong argumentation, responsibility and autonomy in performing professional tasks in line with European values, and the active promotion of these values in personal, professional, national, and international contexts.
