Department of Military Sciences is the functional unit of the Faculty of Military Sciences that contributes to the accomplishment of the mission of the Academy by carrying out educational activities and scientific research in the field of military sciences, related to the university specialties and military / military specialties. The department is part of the design, ordering and optimizing the educational curriculum according to the Bologna Process.

The professionalism of the teaching staff and the material basis within the department allow:

• Transmission to students, masters and students of the theoretical and specialized theoretical knowledge and their valorisation in order to develop practical-applicative skills;
• Developing the capacity to analyze and manage processes / phenomena specific to military systems;
• Training and improving the organizational military culture, as well as promoting the security culture.
