Recommendations for authors
The Land Forces Academy Review is a double blind peer-review academic publication that disseminates the outcomes of scientific research activity conducted by members of the teaching staff and researchers from national and international higher education institutions, in the following fields: Military Sciences, Social-Behavioural Sciences, Management, Economics and Technical Sciences. All contributions must demonstrate relevance and applicability to the domains of defence, public order and national safety.
The Land Forces Academy Review does not charge article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees.
General guidelines
Manuscripts should be submitted by e-mail to revista@armyacademy.ro.
Articles should be between 8 and 12 pages in length.
Each article should include:
- an abstract (150-200 words);;
- up to five keywords.
Authors are strongly advised to consult a native English speaker or English language specialist to ensure the linguistic accuracy and fluency of their manuscript.
Starting with the editorial year 2016, in-text citations and references must follow the American Psyhological Association (APA) style. Additional information can be found at www.apastyle.org

Page Setup: A4 format; margins (top, bottom, left, right): 2.5 cm; Times New Roman font; single spacing;
Paper title: uppercase letters; font size 20; bold; centered;
Author’s first name, last name, affiliation and e-mail address: font size 14; right-aligned;
Abstract: font size 12; italic; justified;
Keywords: font size 12; justified;
Headings and subheadings: font size 12; bold; only the first letter capitalized;
Text body: font size 12; justified;
Tables: preceded by a title; table references should be indicated in brackets (Table no. 1);
Charts and figures: must be clear and legible when printed in black and white; followed by a title (font size 12); references should be indicated in brackets: (Figure no. 1);
Formulas and equations: numbered consecutively in brackets: (1), (2) etc.
Important specification:
- In order to align with international editorial standards and norms, authors are asked to complete the Open Access License, available here.
- The Review is issued in: March, June, September and December.
- Articles must be submitted two months prior to the publication date of each issue (by 15 January/15 April/15 July/15 October).
- The publication of classified information is strictly prohibited.
- Each author may submit one paper only, either as first author or co-author (maximum four authors/paper).
- All rights reserved. No part of this publication may be reproduced without prior permission of the Land Forces Academy Publishing House.
- The Editorial Board reserves the right to publish only those articles that, through the scientific content, creativity and originality, address issues of general interest.
- Articles submitted for publication must be original, containing previously unpublished data and findings. They cannot be under consideration by any other journal or publication simultaneously, ensuring ethical standards and avoiding duplicate submissions.
